194 - Dragon Veins

【龍脈、ryuu-myaku】

According to feng shui, the land has "chi", or energy flow paths.

The "chi" flows undulatingly over the ridges of mountains and pours into the earth.

The winding path of the chi flow is called a dragon vein.

The place where the dragon vein pours in is called a "dragon's den", and it is said to be a place where the energy of the earth is condensed and chi is accumulated.

In fact, the temperature of the ground in the dragon veins and the dragon's dens, where they converge, are higher than in other places and are now believed to have some relationship to the earth's magnetic field, and cities have been built in such places since ancient times.

On the other hand, there are what are called "ley lines" in other countries. Ley lines mean "places where light shines", and are thought to be places where the energy of the earth flows, in short, they could be considered to be the "dragon veins" of Feng Shui.

In fact, various enigmatic phenomena such as mysterious light emissions and spontaneous human combustion have occurred on these ley lines, and it is said that huge ancient ruins and stone circles such as Stonehenge were built at the intersection of these ley lines, perhaps suggesting that the ancient peoples were utilizing the energy of the earth in some form.
