65 - Park's Walking Statue

【公園の歩く像、kouen no aruku zou】

In Maruyama Park in Kyoto, there exists a statue named "Working Boy Statue".

This boy's statue is said to move at night.

This urban legend is limited to Kyoto's Maruyama Park, but there are legends of statues moving everywhere, including a rumor that the statues of Kinjirou Ninomiya installed at schools move by themselves.

[Kinjirou Ninomiya was an agriculturalist and philosopher who is considered a role model of diligence and frugality. For this reason, its common for statues of him to be built in schools.]
